Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our policy on subscription refunds, cancellations and billing.

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for paid subscriptions to Mankiwave (the "Service"), operated by Mankiwave, India ("Mankiwave", "we", "us" or "our"), accessible at https://mankiwave.in. By purchasing or subscribing to any paid plan on the Service, you ("User", "you") agree to this Policy. This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions and our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
2. Nature of the Service (Digital Subscriptions)
Mankiwave is a cloud-hosted, software-only subscription service for WhatsApp marketing, CRM, AI chatbots, bulk messaging campaigns, bot building, and shared team inbox / live chat. We sell access to digital software and message/account quotas on a recurring or fixed-term basis. There are no physical goods, and nothing is shipped. Plans are provisioned and made available for use immediately or shortly after a successful payment, which affects refund eligibility as described below.
3. General Refund Position (Fees Non-Refundable)
Except where expressly stated in this Policy or required by applicable law, all subscription fees, renewal charges, add-on charges, and prepaid amounts are non-refundable. In particular, fees are non-refundable once any of the following has occurred during the relevant billing period:
- The plan, account connections, or message/account quotas (credits) have been activated, used, or partially used;
- You have connected a WhatsApp number, sent or scheduled messages, run campaigns, or otherwise accessed paid features;
- The billing period for which the fee was charged has commenced.
Because the Service is delivered digitally and access is granted promptly, we are generally unable to offer refunds for change of mind, lack of use, partial use of a billing period, or your failure to use the Service after access has been provided.
4. Limited Refund Window
Notwithstanding Section 3, we may, at our discretion, grant a refund in the following limited circumstances if you contact us within the stated time:
- First-time purchase cooling-off: If this is your first paid purchase of a Mankiwave plan, and you have not materially used the paid features (for example, no campaigns sent, quotas substantially unused, and no abuse of the Service), you may request a refund within seven (7) days of the original charge. We reserve the right to assess usage and decline requests where the Service has been materially used.
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription due to a technical or gateway error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
- Failed-but-charged transactions: If your payment was debited but the corresponding plan was not activated or credited to your account, we will either activate the plan or refund the amount in full.
Approved refunds under this Section are limited to the amount actually paid for the affected transaction. Renewal charges are not eligible for the first-time cooling-off window.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email hello@mankiwave.in within seven (7) days of the relevant charge (or within seven (7) days of becoming aware of a duplicate or failed-but-charged transaction). Please include:
- The email address / account associated with your Mankiwave subscription;
- The plan purchased, the amount, and the date of the charge;
- The payment gateway used (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, PhonePe, or PayU) and any transaction or order reference / receipt;
- The reason for your refund request and any supporting details.

6. Refund Processing & Method
Where a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method and processed through the original payment gateway used for the transaction (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, PhonePe, or PayU). We do not issue refunds in cash, to a different account, or by any alternative method.
- We typically initiate approved refunds within five (5) to seven (7) business days of approval.
- The time for the refunded amount to appear in your account depends on the payment gateway, your bank, or card issuer, and may take an additional five (5) to ten (10) business days (or longer for international transactions).
- Gateway transaction fees, currency-conversion charges, or bank charges that are non-recoverable by us may be deducted from the refunded amount where permitted.
7. Plan Cancellation & Effect of Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting hello@mankiwave.in. The following applies on cancellation:
- Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, trigger a refund of fees already paid.
- Unless a refund is expressly granted under this Policy, you will retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period, after which the plan will not renew and access to paid features will end or revert to any applicable free tier.
- No pro-rata or partial refund is provided for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in this Policy.
- Following cancellation or expiry, your data may be retained or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We recommend exporting any data you wish to keep before cancellation.
8. Renewals
Where a plan renews automatically, the renewal charge will be billed using your saved payment method at the start of each new billing period at the then-current price. To avoid a renewal charge, you must cancel before the renewal date. Renewal charges are non-refundable except in the duplicate-charge or failed-but-charged scenarios described in Section 4.
9. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at hello@mankiwave.in so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account while the dispute is investigated. If a chargeback is later found to be unwarranted, we reserve the right to recover the disputed amount, any associated gateway penalties or fees, and to refuse future service.
10. No Refunds for Abuse, Violation, or Suspension
No refund will be provided, and any prepaid fees or unused quotas may be forfeited, where your account is suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms & Conditions or Acceptable Use Policy, including (without limitation) sending unsolicited or spam messages, messaging recipients without valid consent/opt-in, fraud, abuse of the Service, or violation of applicable laws.
You are solely responsible for obtaining valid consent/opt-in from your recipients and for complying with WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy, Meta's commerce and business policies, the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, TRAI/DND norms, and any anti-spam or data-protection laws applicable to you (including GDPR and CAN-SPAM where relevant). Mankiwave does not itself send unsolicited messages.
11. No Guarantee of Deliverability
Mankiwave is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., WhatsApp LLC, Google, Apple, or any other trademark holder; "WhatsApp", "Meta", "Instagram" and related marks belong to their respective owners. We do not guarantee message deliverability, nor that a User's WhatsApp number will not be rate-limited, restricted, or banned by Meta/WhatsApp as a result of the User's own usage. Such outcomes, including any resulting inability to use the Service, do not entitle you to a refund.
12. Currency & Taxes
All prices are stated in the currency shown at checkout and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Where Goods and Services Tax (GST) or any other tax, levy, or duty applies, it will be added and charged as required by law. Any refund granted will be calculated on the net amount actually received by us, and applicable taxes will be refunded only to the extent permitted by, and in accordance with, applicable law and the relevant authorities.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The version published at https://mankiwave.in is the current version and applies to purchases made after it is posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
14. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising out of or relating to it are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having competent jurisdiction in India, as further set out in our Terms & Conditions.
